I would just like to share my IrosePH characters.

This is my second character. The job is a knight, for me this the most easiest character to level because of high HP and skills with AOE (area of effect). Many users in the game are using this job because of easy leveling.

I hope that many people will be inspired to play this game = )

Guppies

besides Flowerhorns i just have started taking care of Guppies. I was attracted to the fish's color, that's the reason why i started taking care of them. Guppies are very small fishes their size range from 1" - 1.5". They are very easy to keep, just keep the water clean and have a proper aeration for breathing. I said that they can be easily taken care of because a 10 or 5 gallon aquarium will do. Just like what i said in my blogs about Flowerhorns the secret of beautiful and healthy fish are the tender, love and care that comes from the owners.

Here you can see a male golden cobra guppie.

Flowerhorns and their owners

The fish and the owner should be also compatible to be able to be happy with each other. It's just a give and take matter between the fish and it's owner. Many things are learned by the owner and at the same time the fish benefits a lot from the owner. The first thing that I had noticed that i gain from my fish is responsibility. In a way that I have to feed, clean and other things that I need to do. Appreciation was another thing that I gained from my fish because I've learned to see the beauty that my fish is showing me. Patience was present in me while I wait for my fish to grow up. Well I guess that the things we benefit in our fish and other pets are things that make us better persons and as better individuals for our society.

Taking care of Flowerhorns

For me the most important thing for the fish is the cleanliness of the water because the condition of the water affects the fishes coloration and health. I give the best food for my fish. After water change i apply rock salt to kill all the bad bacteria and cycle the water without the fish for 1 hour. cycling the water will let the chlorine and bad bacteria to vanish and let the beneficial bacteria to grow in the tank. Beneficial bacteria takes 3 days to grow.
The most basic care we can give to the fish is tender love and care.

My Flowerhorn

I was really attracted to the beauty of the this fish, so i decided to take care one of them,

This is my first flowerhorn , he was just 2 weeks old and a 2cm size.
he was really small when i got him. I pleaced him in a 5 gallon tank..
after a month i transfered him in a 50 gallon tank.

This is the flowerhorn which used to be 2cm. He is now 4-5 inches.
He will be having his 1st year in october 30.

Common Dieseases

ITCH - When you see your fish scrubbing its face on a rough surface or at the floor of the tank huwag na kayo mag atubili, lagyan nyo na agad ng malachyte green para hindi lumala na maging white spot.

Mebendazole And Metronidazole

i just want to share my experience in using this mode of treatment against hexa infection on FHs. i had a bad case of hexa infection on almost all of my fhs, big and small early this year. after treating one fish after another with metronodezole for almost 3 months, i almost give up and was contemplating on 'destroying' the worse cases. then i read about bob2vaifh mentioning deworming medicine. at that time i dont see any connection in using this medication on the treatment of hexa. i thought it was only for treatment on a host of intestinal parasites like tapeworm, hookworm, etc. . i never thought at that time that fishes are also host for these parasites. so i search the net and came across an article on diseases of tropical freshwater fishes. in that article it mention a study on intestinal parasite infection and its treatment. i learn that having an intestinal infection, the digestive system of the fish will weaken and a host of secondary infection will set in. one of these infection is hexamita. the article recommended treatment using deworming medicine. it so happen that this is the generic name given to me by a mercury salelady when i inquire about a deworming medicine.
so this is what i did:
medicine used:
a: 1 pc mebendazole 500mg.
b: 1 pc. metronodezole 500mg
c: drop of malachite green according to dosages.
pound a+b into powder and dissolve in hot water. pour solution into tank asap. administer c. during this time feed sparingly. do w.c. every otherday or three X a week ( the bigger the tank the lesser the frequency of w.c.) administer metronodezole after every w.c.

Hexamita

Hexamita is a flagellated protozoan that can be found in the intestine of healthy and sick fish. It is of particular importance in angel fish and discus. It can also cause problems in oscars and African cichlids, and other fish. Stress, particularly caused by poor water quality or inadequate nutrition, seems to be associated with increases in the number of flagellates in the gut and development of clinical disease. Elimination of stress and correction of husbandry will help correct an outbreak of hexamitiasis. Metronidazole provided as a medicated feed or a bath is an effective treatment and even severely affected fish often respond to therapy. Commercial producers of ornamental cichlids should periodically check fish for hexamita infections and treat any infected fish.

About the fishes

This are my fish pets called FLOWER HORN or LOU HAN in Chinese. These are very colorful freshwater fishes. This fish looks like a fish that has a hump on its head. the hump on its head is called KOK. It is one of the unique things in this fish. Flower horns that i have seen in competitions have enormous KOK is it almost 10x larger that it's head. Flower horns also has Chinese characters that are called PLUMS it is the black ones mostly in the middle part of the whole body. The others color we call it the BASE COLOR it is the base color of the fish and it also have PEARLS that are very shinny.

Here is a picture of a Flower Horn. This picture was taken from a competition in Indonesia.

Fallen Sword

Fallen Sword is a browser online game. I head it from my classmate and he started encouraging the whole class. I was one of the ones he asked to join this game. After all it was a really interesting game. the concept of this game is to be the highest level and be the strongest. By the way this game is international. I noticed that the game also practices my patience because of the hard time leveling up. There are also events were in you can get legendary items. Lottery for those players who like to gamble. It also has an auction house where you can bid for the item you want. It also builds teamwork for the players because each player can join a guild and contribute so that the guild can level up. I've been playing fallen sword for almost a month now and the community of players in the game is still rising.
